Housing Programs
An Important request from recipients is housing: a place of one’s own, a roof over one’s head, a safe place. Our supported housing program staff diligently make sure to be at full capacity year-round with 87 apartments and 88 tenants. The essential Housing Program goal is to help tenants lead successful lives within the community. Housing specialist work with groups of tenants to support each tenant develop their own housing goals. Together housing specialist work with tenants to create a safe and satisfying home life. Housing specialists meet with tenants in person and or remotely to set goals such as money management, healthy eating and community engagement. Job search and readiness tools also enhance the experience of living in the community. Our specialists stay connected to community resources, take care of crises, and work with landlords to maintain and improve the quality of the apartments. Both homeWORKS programs are currently at 100% occupancy. Waiting lists exist for prospective residents.
